Opening National Waterline Museum Fort bij Vechten
On Thursday the 8th of October, the National Waterline Museum opened its doors to the public. Mariëtte Pennarts, the cultural ambassador for the province of Utrecht said that the new museum and landscape design at the Fort bij Vechten "is an important, cultural highlight for 2015."
Rio Cali Linear Park becomes reality with official ground breaking ceremony
The planting of a yellow Guayacan tree on the banks of River Cali by Mayor, Rodrigo Guerrero Velasco on the 30th of July marks the start of the construction of the first section of the Río Cali Linear Park in Colombia.
First hop harvest at Máximapark
Last Saturday the 26th of September, The Friends of Máximapark and councilman Kees Geldof, helped local volunteers harvest the first hop crop from the Park pergola. Mr Geldof, who planted the hop in spring 2015, took down the first cones.

Houston Botanical Garden is off to a green start with sold-out fundraiser netting $400,000

Adriaan Geuze and the Trust for Governors Island Preview the View from Outlook Hill
On the 22nd of September The Trust for Governors Island and West 8’s Adriaan Geuze led an exclusive preview of the views from the top of Outlook Hill, 70 feet above New York Harbor. The event was followed by a public preview weekend on the 26 and 27 of September, that saw 2000 visitors experience the Hills construction site for the first time ever.
KWR's new building and garden opened by Minister Schultz
On Friday, September 18th the Minister of Infrastructure and Environment opened the new residence of the KWR Watercycle Research Institute in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands. West 8 was responsible for the garden design that connects the open and transparent office building by Cepezed to its surroundings.

On Thursday the 3rd of September, Councilman Adriaan Visser and West 8’s Adriaan Geuze unveiled the redesign of the 1km long Coolsingel at an official press conference. The revitalized boulevard will create an alluring green, spacious boulevard and new heart for downtown Rotterdam.

On the 31st of July, 2015, West 8 was announced the winner of the urban design and landscape conceptual planning competition for Brunecker Strasse (Brunecker road) in Nuremberg, Germany. Queens Quay Opens on Time After Three Years of Revitalization Work
On the 19th of June, after three years of construction, Toronto’s revitalized waterfront boulevard designed by West 8 together with DTAH was officially opened, in festive public opening ceremony, “transforming Toronto’s waterfront into a prime destination that rivals some of the great waterfronts in the world'' said Canada's Federal Minister of Finance, Mr. Joe Oliver.

The City of Bruges has announced West 8 + Snoeck & Partners together with Atelier Roland-Jéol, as the winners of the competition for the redevelopment of the 't Zand, also known as Het Zand Square in the UNESCO town of Bruges, Belgium. Mayor of Bruges and jury member Mr.Renaat Landuyt commented that the winning "plan was revolutionary in its simplicity''.

Cargiant and their development partners London & Regional Properties have unveiled early plans for the future of their 46-acre site inthe heart of Old Oak Common, London. West 8 together with PLP Architecture, Arup and several other consultants are responsible for the development of the initial plans to transform the site, which are now being launched for consultation.

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on 20th May, announced WEST 8 - DPA as one of the five teams shortlisted to participate in the second stage of the Rail Corridor Request for Proposal (RFP). Stage 2A of the RFP competition will commence on 22nd of May 2015.
